Ways To Help

Donate Family Meal -

A one-off or repeated donation of hearty “family Meal” style food for at least 100 people. Catering style, scoop and serve food, no need for serve ware, silverware, just catering pans of food. We will arrange all of the logistics, hot or cold pick up, just tell up the time and date, we do the rest. Use the calendar above to book a donation date

Catering overage -

Food waste is always an issue in any restaurant. Especially with catered events, guests over-order, and food remains untouched. Donate these items of untouched food directly. Within simple guidelines (an unused item that has never left the kitchen and has been held at a safe temp), a lot of waste can go a long way. To date, catering overage has fed over 3000 individual meals to those in need.

Host a fundraising event / Party -

If making a direct donation is not an option, host a fundraiser, ask vendors to supply stock, and ask staff who want to get involved to donate time and tips. These events can raise a substantial amount of funding.

Use your network of friends -

Buffalo Resilience has been built on connections. Use your network of friends and colleagues to spread the word. Many hands make light work and the more individual restaurants involved the less those participating will feel the impact. Discuss the program with other restaurants to bring them into the family.

Use your network of vendors -

You have built strong relationships with your vendors. Reach out to them and ask them to get involved, to support you in your good deeds. All donations can be made out to Buffalo Resilience a 501-c-3 and are tax deductible. They can support with product or simply make a financial donation.

Spread the word -

Use your social media to spread the word. The more your network understands what we do and how to help the more we can do for our communities.

Show you are part of the family -

By displaying Buffalo Resilience Supporter stickers and info within your bar/restaurant, show your guests how much you support your neighbors and give back to Buffalo.

 - Wear Buffalo Resilience Swag

 - Head to GoFundMe.com / paypal.com / Venmo and show your financial support

Pour a good cause -

Run a special cocktail on your menu and a selected amount goes to Buffalo Resilience Family Meal.

Pay it forward -

On selected menu items you can add a selected $$ amt. At the end of each week/month, a donation can be made for this amount.

Buy a “Family Meal” -

Add a menu option to buy a “family Meal” this simple gesture allows your guests to support Buffalo Resilience by purchasing a full-price menu item, no need to make anything, no cost to the restaurant, just donate the item price.

Guest shifts -

Staff who would like to support can work shifts and donate a portion of tips.

Teach The Community -

Volunteer time as a chef instructor for teaching events.

Volunteer / Donate services -

Buffalo Resilience often receives donations of stock or partial meals. Work with us, using your kitchen and skills to make beautiful meals, either individually boxed or catering style.

Donate stock, to go containers, cooler space -

We are always in need of extra containers and often freezer/cooler space to hold donations until a distribution date.
